Managing Stress and Maintaining Wellness During a Pandemic

September 17, 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic brought sudden and dramatic societal changes. Allergists reacted quickly with practice adjustments to keep patients and staff safe, but many are now experiencing high levels of stress. Practices are facing tough economic challenges, and some allergists are caring for COVID-19 patients or dealing with the illness in family members or themselves. Many are counseling patients, family members or friends who are resistant to public health protocols and don’t take the pandemic seriously. Everyone is coping with the emotional toll of long-term changes to “normal” life. This webinar will provide techniques allergists can utilize both at work and at home to help mitigate the feelings of burnout brought on by the pandemic along with strategies for combatting pandemic misinformation in person and on social media.

A recording of this live webinar will be available in the Fall of 2020.
