This workshop will discuss the differential diagnosis and management of tryptasemias.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Identify the diagnostic criteria for mastocytosis and their role in diagnosis
  • Recognize the incidence and clinical presentation of hereditary alpha tryptasemia
  • Describe the role of tryptase in diagnosis of anaphylaxis and mast cell activation syndromes
