We hope you enjoyed the second Annual Meeting of the Ohio Allergy and Immunology Society (OAIS).

The meeting was a live event with CME accredited interactive sessions in a variety of formats including difficult cases and panel discussions to best share the expertise that we have within Ohio.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize and discuss with patients, symptoms of anxiety in food allergy patients and their families, implement brief intervention for anxiety management in the clinic, and develop strategies identifying appropriate therapy referral options
  • Explain how to appropriately counsel patients about starting systemic therapy for atopic dermatitis
  • Discuss how to diagnose and treat patients with difficult to control asthma
  • Explain how to apply diagnostic testing methods to aid in diagnosis of food allergy or confirmation of tolerance in a patient with an unclear reaction history
  • Discuss how to develop a treatment algorithm for a patient with difficult to control EoE
  • Describe and apply tools used for immunologic evaluation in the non-academic setting
