RSVP response for Saturday night Society dinner required (registered attendee’s cost is included in registration but please RSVP specifically if you are planning to attend the dinner to allow us to plan appropriately for the reception).

 

Credit must be claimed by June 30, 2014. Any credit request on or after July 1, 2014 will be subject to an administrative fee.

Target Audience

NESA members, any physician interested in the field of Allergy and Immunology (including fellows in training), and any Allied Health professional (including RNs, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants) interested in increasing their fund of knowledge in the field.

Learning Objectives

Upon completing this course, participants should be able to:

  • Develop a step-wise approach to the management of chronic urticaria.
  • Identify specific  environmental risk factors for asthma and allergic disease morbidity in certain vulnerable populations.
  • Identify potentially successful environmental intervention strategies to reduce allergic respiratory disease in multiple settings.
  • Develop a rational approach to diagnostic testing in patients with perioperative anaphylaxis.
  • Appreciate the new evidence about the mechanisms by which hygiene influences IgE responses to allergens.
  • Discuss the relevance of different ticks to sensitization to a blood group substance of mammals.
