For this year's January Meeting, Pete Batra, MD, will speak on nasal polyps and Penelope Phillips, Esq., will speak on harassment and offensive behavior in the medical practice.

Interesting cases for the program will be presented by the fellows-in-training from Northwestern University.  They will be reviewing, presenting, and leading the discussion on these cases.

Online registration will close on Friday, January 24, at 12:00 pm CST. On-site registration will begin at 8:00 am on Sunday, January 26.


Credit claiming will open no later than 12:00 pm CST on Wednesday, January 30. Instructions will be distributed at the meeting and will also be available as an attachment at the bottom of this page when credit claiming opens.

Credit claiming will remain open through December 31, 2020 at 11:59 pm CST. Requests to claim credit on or after January 1, 2021 will be subject to an administrative fee.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Correlate the nasal microbiome state with treatment options in patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyposis
  • Determine appropriate referral to otolaryngologist and the timing of the utilization of biologics
  • Recognize situations that may constitute harassment
  • Highlight key elements of an anti-harassment policy
  • Learn how to protect the practice from harassment claims
