The purpose of this activity is to provide up-to-date information to allergist/immunologists on the hot topic area of vaping. There will also be article presentations and discussion during the journal club portion of the meeting. Journal Club articles are from the ABAI CAP (Continuous Assessment Program) 2019 Block 2 reading list. Join us for a great lecture and stimulating discussion.

Registration will remain open through 12:00 pm Central Time on Friday, October 4. There is no late fee for late/on-site registration.


Credit claiming will open no later than 12:00 pm Central Time on Wednesday, October 9, and will remain open through 11:59 pm Central Time on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Requests to claim credit on or after July 1, 2020 will be subject to an administrative fee.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize patients who would be at risk to vape
  • Explain the health risks associated with vaping
  • Develop a communication plan to discuss vaping with patients
  • Compare and contrast the findings from the study with the standard of care or knowledge base of a board-certified or -eligible allergist/immunology
  • Identify the significance of the article findings and put in context how these findings affect the practice of allergy/immunology
