The NWAF is a CME educational meeting jointly sponsored by the AAAAI, ASTHMA Inc and the Washington and Oregon Societies of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.  The meeting is attended by Allergists, Fellows-in-training, physicians in related specialties, as well as Interns, Residents, Medical Students and Nurses.  The program is a 2 day event with both local and national speakers covering topics such as the diagnoses and management of primary immunodeficiency, atopic dermatitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, food allergy, and eosinophilia disorders.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of how to diagnoses and manage Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) and Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis (FPIES).
  2. Apply best practices while diagnosing, treating, and following patients with primary immune deficiency disease. 
  3. Explain the new ICD-10 codes and apply them to their practice.
  4. Identify how to effectively treat and manage chronic rhinosinusitis.
  5. Identify common pediatric skin conditions and rashes as well as demonstrating how to effectively manage atopic dermatitis.
