Session 1008 from the 2017 AAAAI Annual Meeting will showcase experimental work on sex-based differences in lung function and how these relate to different predispositions to developing lung disease in men and women. Furthermore, this course will explore how circulating sex hormone levels impact the lung innate immune response and contribute to the pathogenesis of asthma and viral respiratory infection.
