Session 1807 from the 2017 AAAAI Annual Meeting will address: potentially detrimental upregulation of the immune system with aging (inflammaging), loss of immune function with aging (immune senescence), and the impact of changes on immune responses to vaccines and infections.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe changes that occur in the immune system with aging, including inflammaging and immune senescence
- Describe clinical implications of changes in immune function that occur with age, including response to vaccines and infections
- Identify and apply knowledge of age-related changes in immune function to care of patients with previously normal immune function, as well as those with underlying immune disease
