AAAAI Joint Providership Process

CME/CE Overview

The AAAAI is accredited to provide AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits™ for physicians by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and continuing education (CE) hours for nurses by the California Board of Registered Nursing (CBRN). Your activity must meet the requirements of these organizations in order to be certified by the AAAAI. As an accredited organization the AAAAI may enter into a Joint Providership relationship with a non-accredited organzation with the purpose of hosting an accredited activity. The ACCME defines joint providership as the providership of a CME activity by one or more accredited and one or more nonaccredited organizations.

Instructions

The fee for Joint Providership through AAAAI is $2500.00 and payment is required once your initial request has been received and accepted.
To ensure complete processing of an application in time for an event be sure to submit the application no fewer than 180 days before the activity start date. The earlier the better!!! To begin a request, follow these steps:

Submit the AAAAI Joint Providership Request (180 days or more prior to event)
Planning Committee Members complete an online financial disclosure https://aaaai.execinc.com/disclosure
Receive approve/decline notice from AAAAI (if approved, a AAAAI Activity ID will be provided - you will need this later)
Submit payment for the application fee through the online payment portal https://education.aaaai.org/applicationfee
Complete the AAAAI Joint Providership Application (90 days or more prior to event)
Faculty complete an online financial disclosure https://aaaai.execinc.com/disclosure

PLEASE NOTE: If you intend to apply for commercial support through an available educational grant, it is crucial to inform the AAAAI staff ASAP, this may affect the cost of your CME application. Most pharmaceutical companies have a fairly narrow window for applying for grants (30, 60 or 90 days)
