2026 BSACI Online Global Symposium

We have developed a cutting-edge online program with internationally recognized speakers, where where EAACI, WAO, AAAAI and JSA will focus on the clinical state-of-the-art and highlight recent guidelines and consensus papers. BSACI will present challenging clinical cases following up from the very well-received session at the 2025 symposium. There will also be an ‘Presidents’ Forum’ session where the presidents of all partner societies will be given a platform to discuss what is new and important in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

Target Audience

  • Allergy/Immunology Physicians
  • Youth/Adult Primary Care Providers
  • Nurses, Allied Health Professionals
  • Clinical Staff
  • Fellows-in-Training
  • Residents
  • Individuals with an academic interest in Allergy/Immunology

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discover how allergen immuno therapy, including SCIT and SLIT, can improve asthma control, modify disease, and offer long-term prevention in allergic conditions worldwide
  • Explore advances in diagnosing and treating SJS/TEN, including cancer drug reactions with similar features. Gain practical guidance and support global efforts to standardize care
  • Share the Japanese guidelines for atopic dermatitis to highlight evidence-based treatment strategies and promote shared decision-making between physicians and patients, respecting individual values and preferences.
  • Detail how and when to perform oral food challenges and how to avoid pitfalls in diagnosing and following up food allergy
  • Explore how AI can transform global allergy care by improving diagnosis, personalizing treatment, and expanding equitable access to specialist-level expertise in alignment with EAACI’s evidence-based vision for clinical implementation
  • Emphasizing improving beta-lactam allergy diagnosis and de-labeling false cases to reduce antibiotic resistance and enhance global health outcomes
  • Understand topics of interest in the field of allergic disease as discussed and answered by the Presidents of five global societies
  • Explore how the mind shapes allergic reactions and learn about the link between immunology and psychology to deliver new treatment approaches that address both the physical and mental aspects of allergy.
  • Highlight therapeutic decision-making in a challenging adolescent atopic dermatitis case using latest guidelines, network meta-analyses, treat-to-target strategies, and immunological targets of emerging systemic therapies
  • Understand and manage hymenoptera venom allergy with confidence
  • Recognize, diagnose, and manage FPIES, and explore emerging research shaping safer food introduction and improved clinical care
  • Explore the rising global prevalence of Pollen-Food Allergy Syndrome, its diverse presentations, potential environmental and dietary causes, and the current challenges in achieving consistent international diagnosis and management guidelines
  • Understand the risks, benefits, and real-world impact of biologics in allergy care
  • Explore the nuances of DRESS syndrome treatments. Dress syndrome is a rare, serious drug-induced hypersensitivity reaction with up to 10% mortality. It affects multiple organs and often presents 2–8 weeks after drug exposure, delaying diagnosis
  • Explore milk protein allergy in infancy, its persistence and severity, and the importance of a reasoned substitute choice when breastfeeding is not available
  • Explore standardized intravenous rapid drug desensitization protocols to harmonize practice, enhance patient
