2024 AAAAI Leadership Institute Course

The Leadership Institute Course will be held on Friday, February 23rd, from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

The Leadership Institute Course incorporates instruction in key leadership skills for effective leadership in the academic, private practice, and various career settings. The course also provides instruction on how to become an effective leader within AAAAI. This content is provided within a one-day course offered each year at the AAAAI Annual Meeting with additional supplemental offerings throughout the year. AAAAI members who have completed postdoctoral and fellowship trainings are encouraged to apply.

Registration is limited.

Target Audience

  • A/I Physicians
  • AAAAI members and Fellows who currently hold a AAAAI leadership position (e.g. Assembly, Committee and Interest Section Chairs, Vice Chairs, or Secretaries)
  • General committee members who are interested in moving to the next level of leadership in the AAAAI.


Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Understand how to get involved within the AAAAI Journals
  • Describe how to contribute to the AAAAI via committees and other leadership opportunities
  • Understand various leadership pathways within the AAAAI
  • Address burnout within their career
  • Navigate challenges and optimize opportunities within their career
  • Utilize social media in medicine
