A 7 month old boy with an upper respiratory infection, history of wheezing, and family history of food allergy (older brother with peanut allergy) comes in for evaluation of food allergy. The boy consumes cow’s milk based formula, has tasted scrambled eggs and as well as hummus with sesame. His parents are anxious to give him peanuts because of the brother’s history of peanut allergy.
