3005: Group 2 Innate Lymphoid Cell (IC2) Identification: Are They What We Think They Are?
ILC2s are recently discovered lymphocytes that are lineage-negative and produce high levels of Th2 cytokines. Identification of ILC2s in human tissues and mouse models is critical to the study of these cells in allergic diseases. Recently, two reports have challenged conventional ways to identify these cells in humans and mice (Cavagnero 2019, Liu 2020, JACI). This session will discuss updated ways to identify ILC2s with consideration of novel markers.
