4501: Pathways to Success on a Clinician Educator Track
Full time clinician/clinician educator positions are the most common track in junior faculty, yet some faculty struggle to find mentorship and resources to meet promotion criteria. Given the small size of the allergy/immunology specialty it is even more imperative to ensure the early success of A/I junior faculty. This seminar's leaders - a junior faculty member and a mid-career mentor - will share perspectives on succeeding as a clinician educator, including tips on achieving excellence in the major areas of effort (service, education, and research).
