The conversation starts with an explanation of the role of the Joint Task Force on Practice Parameters for Allergy & Immunology and the intent of this update. Then, Dr. Shaker talks through the answers to the five questions addressed by the parameter and explains the risk factors for biphasic anaphylaxis and the appropriate use of antihistamines and glucocorticoids in the prevention of biphasic anaphylaxis.
