ISAAI Fellow's Research Program 2019

The annual Fellow Research program provides the opportunity for allergy/immunology fellows-in-training to present their original research to the ISAAI membership. Through the process of oral presentation, the fellow-in-training can develop and appreciate the ability to conduct a scientific investigation and communicate it to an audience of his or her peers. These oral presentations will be evaluated for a special award by a panel of judges with no academic affiliation.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Review the clinical presentation of mast cell activation syndrome
  • Review the evaluation and management of mast cell activation syndrome
  • Review and evaluate the research projects of fellows-in-training

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of AAAAI and the Illinois Society of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. The AAAAI is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement

The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
