NJAAIS Annual Teaching Day 2024
Annual Teaching Day is an event for allergy professionals from New Jersey area to get together for education, exchange of knowledge and networking, through formal symposiums and discussions. The symposium features invited speakers who are leaders and experts in the fields of allergy, asthma, and immunology. It aims to update attendees the current knowledge, guidelines and discoveries in various topics, and encourage implantation measurements for advancement in clinical practice and patient advocacy.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the role of skin testing, graded dose challenge and desensitization in the evaluation and treatment of patients with drug allergy
- Recognize specific clinical features in skin allergic disease and identify multidisciplinary intervention strategies for management of allergic skin diseases
- Discuss methods to empower participants to understand chronic cough, possible diagnosis and therapeutic options
- Discuss practice parameter updates to the diagnosis and management of anaphylaxis
- Recognize clinical features of primary immune deficiency and management options of primary immune deficiency
- Recognize clinical features of common allergic conditions in food allergy and describe the indications, appropriate patient selection and side effects of recent FDA approved medications in food allergy

Accreditation Statement
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of AAAAI and The New Jersey Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society. The AAAAI is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Credit claiming for this activity will expire at 11:59 pm on September 30, 2025. Requests to claim credit on or after October 1, 2025 will be subject to an administrative fee.
