NJAAIS Italy Summit 2025
The NJAAIS Italy 2025 Summit brings together expert clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals from the United States and Italy in the historic city of Caserta. This unique gathering fosters collaboration between NJAAIS members and prominent Italian allergy/immunology colleagues to explore the latest advances in the field.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify strategies for early recognition, monitoring, and prevention of infections and complications in patients with therapy-induced immunodeficiency
- Describe the pathophysiologic mechanisms linking bone marrow failure syndromes with primary immunodeficiencies.
- Identify key diagnostic strategies and therapeutic approaches for patients presenting with overlapping features of bone marrow failure and primary immunodeficiencies
- Analyze the economic impact of various food allergy management strategies, including diagnostic testing, dietary interventions, and emergency preparedness
- Identify unique clinical insights and therapeutic practices from the Italian approach that can be integrated into their own management of patients with allergic diseases
- Describe the underlying immunologic mechanisms contributing to the pathophysiology of chronic rhinosinusitis and how these mechanisms impact disease phenotype
- Apply current evidence-based strategies, including targeted immunologic therapies, to the clinical management of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis
- Describe the evidence supporting the impact of clinician compassion on patient outcomes and healthcare delivery, and apply core principles of brief cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to enhance patient interactions and improve adherence

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of AAAAI and The New Jersey Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society.
