NJAAIS Annual Teaching Day is a dynamic gathering of allergy and immunology professionals from across New Jersey, designed to foster collaboration, learning, and innovation. This one-day symposium brings together leading experts and emerging voices in the fields of allergy, asthma, and immunology to share the latest clinical guidelines, research breakthroughs, and evolving best practices. Through interactive lectures, case-based discussions, and networking opportunities, attendees will gain practical insights to elevate patient care, drive advocacy, and implement meaningful changes in their daily practice.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply current evidence to improve the recognition, acute management, risk stratification, and long-term prevention of anaphylaxis in patients with allergic disease
  • Describe 360° of caring including self-caring & wellness , caring for colleagues & teamwork , caring for patients & communities and holistic approaches to care
  • Incorporate current evidence and guideline-based recommendations into the diagnosis, management, and prevention of pediatric food allergy
  • Apply current evidence and guideline-based recommendations for the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of drug allergies, including risk stratification, diagnostic testing, and strategies for drug allergy delabeling to improve patient safety and treatment options
  • Integrate molecular and immunologic principles into the evaluation and management of patients with immune deficiencies, using current diagnostic approaches and emerging scientific insights to guide clinical decision-making and individualized patient care
  • Apply current evidence-based approaches to the evaluation, differential diagnosis, and management of eosinophilia, incorporating recent advances in disease classification, diagnostic testing, and targeted therapies to optimize patient outcomes
  • Integrate knowledge gained throughout the conference by discussing complex clinical scenarios, clarifying evidence-based recommendations, and applying current best practices to the diagnosis and management of allergic and immunologic diseases
