AAAAI-NAIA/JACI: In Practice Virtual Journal Club: March 22, 2023

The live webinar occurred on March 22, 2023.
A recording will be published shortly after. This recording will be available until June 30, 2023

The Virtual Journal Club is a one-hour live webinar open to all AAAAI members that will focus on the newest clinically relevant content published in JACI: In Practice. The presenters will review research relevant to your allergy/immunology practice in an interactive format.

Drug and vaccine allergy are among the most common problems evaluated by allergist/immunologists. Penicillin allergy delabeling is a particularly important opportunity for allergist/immunologists to contribute to public health through antibiotic stewardship, and COVID vaccine allergy has been a very timely topic. This session reviews two articles that provide practical information regarding these two important types of drug and vaccine allergy. The thorough discussion of the strengths, limitations, and clinical applicability of these articles by experts in the field that is provided in the VJC format should allow the listener to use the information in these studies most appropriately in their clinical practice.

The March 22, 2023 webinar will focus on two journal articles as follows (click the Program tab to download the PDFs):

Moderator:  Christine Panganiban, MD MS
