Instructional Methods for Active Learning
This interactive workshop will enhance educators' skills and knowledge in interactive learning methods. Participants will review adult learning theory and explore a variety of instructional techniques that promote active participation by learners. As a result, learners will more effectively master course content and be better prepared to apply new knowledge and skills in their practices, resulting in improved patient care.

Members of the AAAAI Annual Meeting Program Subcommittee
Physician and allied health members of the AAAAI who serve as faculty for AAAAI continuing education activities
Physician and allied health members of the AAAAI with an interest in submitting session proposals for future annual meetings

By the end of the workshop, the learner will be able to:
1. Name adult learning principles
2. Describe the strategy of the flipped classroom
3. Describe instructional methods for active learning
4. Apply the knowledge of adult learning principles and active learning methods by evaluating sessions at the 2014 Annual Meeting
