Allergy/Immunology Clinical Rotation Curriculum

Recognizing a need in areas where specialty programs like allergy and immunology are inaccessible, the AAAAI launched an initiative in 2013 to develop a core curriculum that community-based allergists can use to offer a comprehensive allergy/immunology elective.  In 2018, the Clinical Rotation Curriculum Committee reviewed and updated the online curriculum.  Students, residents and allied health practitioners of all specialties now have easier access to the Allergy/Immunology Clinical rotation curriculum.  The focus is on seven topic areas, each with a set of reading and multimedia materials that serve as the basis for the curriculum, which the resident, medical student or allied health practitioner can review during the elective. There are also sets of test questions, which can be used to measure what was learned and a final evaluation.

AAAAI members interested in serving as volunteer faculty and sponsoring students, residents and allied health practitioners of all specialties in their practices can sign up here.

Students, residents and allied health practitioners of all specialties who are starting a rotation in an allergy/immunology practice should register here.
