Presidential Plenary: The Future is Here
This plenary session is designed to engage learners in a discussion of the "why" and "how" pertaining to the roles of clinical practice guidelines, quality, and technological advancement in health care moving forward. Its speakers are lectureship recipients as follows:

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss the utility of telemedicine for remotely diagnosing, monitoring, and treating patients with allergic/immunologic disorders
- Relate the future impact of clinical practice guidelines for optimizing health care decision making and improving health care outcomes for patients with allergic/immunologic disorders
- Discuss the transition to value-based reimbursement currently in progress, that will increasingly incentivize allergy/immunology providers to deliver care focused on quality metrics and patient satisfaction, and discourage services that are redundant or of low value

AAAAI Disclosure Policy
Pursuant to the Code of Ethics for the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the Standards for Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, the AAAAI requires disclosure of certain information from faculty members of educational activities designated for CME credit by the AAAAI. Prior to the activity, authors and reviewers are required to disclose all relationships that meet the following parameters:

This includes any financial interest in or relationship with any manufacturer of a commercial product, and any financial interest or relationship with any organization that provides commercial support to AAAAI-sponsored educational activities.
