The In-Training Exam Subcommittee of the Program Directors’ Assembly of the AAAAI is pleased to again offer the In-Training Exam to AAAAI and ACAAI members and non-member allergist/immunologists.
This exam must be taken at one of the authorized testing centers, which are located throughout the U.S. To determine the location of the testing center nearest you, visit http://www.isoqualitytesting.com/locations.aspx. Please access this site to determine if there is a testing center convenient to your location before submitting your registration. Due to the online format, the exam will only be offered during the dates of July 13 to August 3, 2016 and will not be available otherwise. No exceptions will be made.

This activity offers 5.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and the 5.00 MOC Part II Self-Assessment credits for physicians. Please review the general information page for details on how to obtain these credits. All steps outlined must be completed in order to claim credit.
Credit must be claimed by June 30, 2017. Credit requests on or after July 1, 2017 will be subject to an administrative fee.
This examination is in no way meant to be a specific examination to prepare candidates for the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI). This is not a precursor to the ABAI examination, but examinees may find it useful. The intent of the examination is to identify weak points in the individual's base of knowledge.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to
- Identify recognized and unrecognized gaps in knowledge of allergy and immunology and the care of individuals with allergic and immunologic diseases.
- Develop an individualized plan to address weaknesses.
- Improve understanding of the essential medical knowledge in allergy/immunology in preparation for re-certification.
The 2016 In-Training Examination was written by the Program Directors Assembly In-Training Examination Subcommittee under the leadership of Katherine E. Gundling, MD (Chair) and Heather Lehman, MD FAAAAI (Vice Chair). The committee also includes 23 Program Directors and senior allergists.
