Applying Choosing Wisely® Recommendations with Chronic Urticaria Patients
In this course, you will encounter a virtual patient who has chronic urticaria. You will take the patient’s clinical and allergic history, consider appropriate tests, and provide a diagnosis and treatment plan. Throughout the simulation, you will receive feedback on your decisions guided by the Choosing Wisely recommendation about diagnostic testing for chronic urticaria patients. The recommendation will be presented in detail alongside communication models and guidance for developing your own communication strategy.
