2003: A Nuts and Bolts Approach to the Workup of Immunodeficiency Disorders in Children
This session will provide an overview of the standard workup of a child with recurrent infections. Discussion will review various sentinel infections that can guide the practitioner to the specific laboratory testing that would most likely assist with a definitive diagnosis. There will also be a discussion on the role of genetic testing in patients with suspected immunodeficiency disorders.
