4502: Basophil and Mast Cell Activation Tests in the Diagnosis of Allergies
This seminar will include a review of the use of in vitro basophil and mast cell activation tests in the identification of inciting agents in allergic reactions.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify basophil and mast cell activation tests used to identify allergic substances
- Apply these tests to the identification of allergens in food allergy, urticaria and asthma
- Describe the basis of these in vitro tests in terms of validity
