Myths abound in the world of allergy and immunology (A/I). This course will address A/I myths and legends with evidence and provide strategies for using social media to provide medically sound patient education.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify evidence to dispel myths in A/I
  • Demonstrate ways social media can be used to combat A/I misconceptions among patients
