As part of the new ACCME approval standards whenever a conflict of interest is found the AAAAI is required to present the faculty/planning committee member with a notice, recommending a way(s) for the individual to mitigate the conflict.
After that communication is sent the AAAAI now needs to document receipt of the mitigation communication from each individual and agreement from that individual that they will follow the recommendations set forth by the CME Committee.
