Orientation for Fellowship Program Directors and Associate Program Directors
December 2024

Most allergists describe their experience stepping into the role of Program Director as being like waking up in the cockpit of a 737 and being told they are now the pilot. It can be overwhelming with new lingo, young trainees with very different strengths and weaknesses, and very new role as a medical educator. This orientation is created to highlight the most important items that you should learn early on. Please use these links as a starting point to orient yourself to the challenging but fulfilling role of Program Director/Associate Program Director.
