Food Allergy: WAO Online Learning Module

The Online Food Allergy Learning Program developed by the World Allergy Organization is designed to provide medical education for allergists practicing in countries throughout the World. This module is part of a series of resources that will address the knowledge objectives for allergists outlined in the World Allergy Organization Position Statement, Requirements for Physician Competencies in Allergy: Key Clinical Competencies Appropriate for the Care of Patients with Allergic or Immunologic Diseases.

The interactive case history is based on a real life scenario. Key questions are asked on each aspect of the case. The answers are supported by reference to learning materials and podcasts on the WAO Website and cutting edge reviews and research papers available on the World Wide Web. As you work through the case you will access a wide variety of learning materials so that on completion you will have undertaken a rigorous analysis of background information and up-to-date research and opinions.
