This course includes the pollen slide video test required to complete the NAB pollen counting certification. The pollen slide test video is from an outdoor air sample slide filmed at a magnification of 600X. The sample contains outdoor airborne particles both biological particles and dust. In addition to what was in the air, various pollen types were specifically added to the sample to provide for a representative mix of pollen. You are asked to identify and count all pollen grains on the video. Please pause or rewind the video as needed to spend longer examining the image. For each pollen grain, the videographer focused up and down so that the pollen features were brought into clear focus. Be sure to maximize the video to full screen for best viewing.
