EPR-3 guideline review provides 1.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ or 1.80 Contact Hours.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

1. Explain the pediatric and adult implications of the new asthma guidelines.
2. Describe the difference between severity and control assessments and determine when it is appropriate to use each assessment.
3. Determine appropriate pharmacological treatment regimens for their patients with asthma utilizing the stepwise approach.
