This module addresses the topic of bronchial thermoplasty as an option for difficult-to-treat severe asthma.  It is hoped that this module will offer the participant the ability to identify patients who might respond to bronchial thermoplasty, understand long-term outlook, and be aware of complications.  The module is built around a case history that is based on a real-life scenario.  Participants are quizzed stage by stage.  The answers are explained and supported by references to relevant publications as well as other resources available online for further exploration.
