3703: Advanced Therapy for Urticaria: Practical Implications

Biologic therapies for urticaria are a relatively new addition to the treatment options for these patients, and many allergist/immunologists have questions about the appropriate use of these new therapies. Discussion leaders in this seminar will address some of the challenges in treating a patient with biologic therapy for urticaria.

  • Define how long to treat a patient with urticaria
  • Describe how to taper off of a prescribed biologic agent and when the patient is ready
  • Determine how to adjust the dosing of biologics when tapering the patient off of therapy
