4004: Diagnostic Testing for Food Allergy in Patients with Atopic Dermatitis
While children with atopic dermatitis are known to be at higher risk for food allergy, accurately diagnosing food allergy in these patients can be particularly challenging given their propensity to have elevated total IgE levels. This seminar will highlight the utility of currently available diagnostic tests, including food-specific and component IgE testing, for predicting food allergy in patients with atopic dermatitis and elevated total serum IgE levels.
